COVID-19 UPDATE

According to BC Health places of worship are not required to close during this time, so our service remains open. However, with this new variant, BC Health has recommended that people reduce their risk by avoiding public gatherings. If you are comfortable attending, you are welcome to join us.

We strive to be disciples of Jesus who grow disciples of Jesus through Friendship.

Our Mission to serve locally...

Friendship is currently helping our local food Bank here on the Peninsula.  The weekly challenge is for each of us to step forward, bring food items, and help those who are in need through these trying times. Come join us as we work together as One Church.

Lets Do It!

An Update From BGC

We so much appreciate the generosity of BGC churches in times of need. Right now drought-ravaged families in East Africa are facing a tsunami of catastrophe.

The war in Ukraine has stopped the delivery of grain from Europe which accounts for about 90% of the wheat export to East Africa.

3 years of extreme drought has devastated families. Cattle, goats, and sheep lie rotting in the fields where they died from thirst and hunger. 80% of groundwater is now parched dusty dirt. 40% of the boreholes are dried.

COVID-19 has disrupted supply chains and food costs are highly inflated. We are already working with churches in South Sudan and Tigray, Ethiopia. But, it is critical that we increase input at this time.

WHICH SONG
SHOULD WE DO NEXT?

As we grow together in our walk with God, we love to sing His praises! Psalm 98:1 "Sing a new song to the Lord, for He has performed wonders." Here is your opportunity to vote on which new songs we introduce on Sunday.

Below you will see 3 songs. We would love your feedback on which of these 3 songs you would like to be sung at our Church!

All Hail King Jesus

Jeremy Riddle:
"Worship songs are all about Jesus, and He is the focus of our praise. Sometimes it is hard to find songs that are just about who He is and what He has done and are focused on Him in their adoration. I think it is because that type of song requires a lot of discipline to write. Songs of response come easier. Telling the story of Jesus is a different kind of journey."

Leaning

Matt Maher:
“There are times in life where on either side of a difficult season you’re either asking, ‘How am I going to get through this?’ or, you’re on the other side looking back in amazement saying, ‘How did I get through this?’ That’s where I find that the most sincere, real, authentic prayers get prayed.”

His Mercy is More

Shane and Shane write wonderful songs according to scripture and this is another song where they exude the bible into songs of praise.
