We believe that everything we have comes from God, it's all His and in His infinite wisdom He has blessed us with what we need every day (1 Chron 29:14). But many times we forget to worship Him and thank Him for this blessing of Daily bread (Matthew 6:9-13). In Matthew 6:19–21 Jesus says, 19 “Don’t store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." So we give to show God that He is first in our lives and when we give, it honours God. Giving then is a part of our worship, we show God that that He is first, and we rely on Him to provide.
